FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic scanning of 11-13 week foetus profile in a mid-sagittal plane is carried out. Lines are drawn on the sonographic image of the foetus profile along an upper edge of upper and lower jaws, while a tangent line is drawn through endpoints of the upper and lower jaws. If the lines drawn along the upper edge of both jaws are parallel, and the lower jaw projects forward in relation to the upper one, and the tangent line extends behind the forehead, the syndrome pathology or isolated microgenia is absent in the foetus. If the lines drawn along the upper edge of both jaws extend angularly, and the front endpoint of the lower jaw lies posterior or at the level of the front endpoint of the upper jaw, while the tangent line extends in front of the forehead, the syndrome pathology or isolated microgenia is observed in the foetus.;EFFECT: method enables providing a higher diagnostic accuracy of the syndrome pathology or isolated microgenia in the foetus by a possibility of the early assessment of the foetus's jaw relation.;2 ex
