FIELD: measuring equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention belongs to area of equipment connected with quantitative assessment of consumption of liquid of any density. The method of express assessment of capacity of liquid inflow includes continuous direct measurement of pressure in the tank in one point below the level of the liquid, which was in the tank, preliminary determination of density of this liquid according to a hydrostatic formula through values of the measured pressure and liquid level, definition on the basis of the measured pressure and density of liquid of the current value of height of variable level of liquid. Thus height of level of liquid at determination of density of liquid is determined by sonic depth finder, and on the basis of the first derivative function of height of variable level of liquid at the known area of section of the tank according to q (t) = [dh (t)/dt] S they define the value of capacity of liquid inflow in the tank.;EFFECT: expansion of a working range of change of liquid level in assessment of capacity of liquid inflow in a tank when using only two measuring devices.;4 dwg
