FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to brake system control. Pressure control system comprises induction squirrel-cage pole-reversing four-speed motor with pole-reversing stator winding including 24 coil sets (A1-A8, B1-B8, C1-C8) connected with eight coil set switches (9-16) and switch to connect the engine with AC source, movable contact sets with drives (17-24) incorporated with control device. Air pressure controller 1 of pneumatic system is connected with 1st comparator while suction air pressure controller 4 is connected with 4th comparator. Air consumption transducer 2 and suction air temperature gage 3 are connected with 2nd and 3rd comparators via first and second correctors of their static characteristics. First, second, third and fourth comparators are connected with first, second, third and fourth masters and with adder connected in their turn with compressor drive. Compressor drive incorporates the algorithm of combined relay 8-position microprocessor-based air pressure controller.;EFFECT: higher quality of pressure control and compressor reliability, lower costs and oil consumption.;10 dwg
