The invention relates to the field of geology and in particular, to devices for determining the elements of occurrence of cracks and bed boundaries in the core. An apparatus for determining angles of incidence and stretch and crack formations at the borders of the core, comprises a base on which are fixed two parallel guide rails, adapted to the measuring scale attached to the bottom rack, parallel to the base on which the fixed bed, to accommodate the core. On rails installed trolley movable on rails and equipped with two pairs of measuring scales in the form of limbs. Measuring scale of the first pair are adapted to circular coverage of the core. The scales of the second pair are formed with arrows and are mounted on the same axis perpendicular to the axis of the bed to accommodate a core, rotatably around the core. The apparatus allows to increase the performance of work in the measurement of angles of incidence and stretch and crack formations at the borders of the core of varying length, to receive a complete picture about a core position in space. 13 ZP f ly-2 Fig.
