The present invention controls organic reactive power of a power generation system and controls a DC stage voltage of a power converter by classifying voltage and current of an induction generator stator and an induction generator rotor having nonlinear characteristics respectively. The present invention can be stably mounted by designing a controller by integrating a stator and rotor side converter, and can be included in a nonlinear control input to remove all of differential terms which can cause instability of the system. Even if a time-variable disturbance factor occurs by uncertainties of a wound-rotor induction generator model or external noise or the model has unknown parameters, an apparatus for controlling the wound-rotor type induction generator using a backstepping robust adaptive control scheme can maintain a stable control operation.
