The present invention relates to a vertical type hydro turbine generator and, more specifically, to a vertical hydro turbine generator for rotating a vertical type hydro turbine by intensively providing water stored by installing a stank in small river from a predetermined distance through a pipe and capable of generating power by maximizing the rotation power of the hydro turbine through a predetermined a converting device. The present invention installs the pipe as the length of 500 to 600 meters; a water gun installed as a hopper shape at the front end of the pipe; a rotation power member fixed at a penetration hole of a connecting pillar with a fixing bolt and a fixing nut at a lower side of a waterspout installed in a position in which the water is vertically provided from the front end of the water gun; a rotation disk for forming a predetermined interval with a member connecting groove in which the connecting pillar is fixed, in which a bolt connecting hole is formed at both sides, and in which the center shaft is penetrated; and a power transfer device connected to a first rotation pulley in which the center shaft is connected through a first belt, in which the penetrated power shaft is connected to a second rotation pulley and a third rotation pulley, in which the third rotation pulley is connected to a fourth rotation pulley through a second belt, and generating power in the generator connected to the fourth rotation pulley by converting the power by connecting to the fourth rotation pulley to the third rotation pulley through the second belt in the hydro turbine generator rotated by the weight and pressure of the water provided from the stack installed in the small river through the pipe.
