PURPOSE: A hierarchical management method of a DEVS based simulation model is provided to hierarchically configure a simulation model, thereby increasing the reusability of the simulation model. CONSTITUTION: A behavior module (20) is established in order to achieve a purpose of a simulation. An action module (30) implements component technology required to be linked to another simulation model. A simulation model (10) comprises a combination of a plurality of behavior modules and action modules. The simulation model has sub simulation models which comprise a combination of the behavior modules and the action modules. An input and output method between the sub simulation models or the higher simulation model and the sub simulation model is defined as a standardized input and output method based on a DEVS.
