The present invention relates to an electronic optics / infrared rays (EO / IR) image generating method for simulator which uses a material automatic input algorithm. The EO / IR image generating method which is provided by the present invention as an embodiment in order to realize the forementioned includes the following steps of: (a) calling a primitive satellite image which is comprised of true colors; (b) converting the called primitive satellite image into an image of index colors; (c) designating a master file which previously defines a color value about each of topographic features including a land, a tree, and a rock; and (d) converting the color value about each topographic feature of the index color image into the color value which is previously defined in the master file based on the master file. [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S101) Call a primitive satellite image which is comprised of true colors; (S102) Convert the called primitive satellite image into an image of index colors; (S103) Designate a master file which defines a color value about each of topographic features; (S104) Convert the color value about each topographic feature of the index color image into the color value which is previously defined in the master file based on the master file; (S105) Generate an EO/IR image
