The present invention relates to a small business-type cloud-based smart work platform for integrated electronic document management, which manages all electronic documents generated in the enterprise using three-stage security, allows heterogeneous servers to use a unified integrated DB by integrating the heterogeneous servers, and processes in-company paperwork by a remote smart device with stability and security. According to the present invention, a system comprises a method for storing knowledge information and metadata in an integrated server and an integrated DB by configuring three-stage security for documents and information; a plug-in manager for integrating a variety of heterogeneous business servers; a secure cloud platform for connecting the heterogeneous business servers with an integrated DB; and a mobile gateway having a tool for authoring electronic documents and electronic books including PDF-based electronic signatures and wherein an adaptive working zone (AWZ) and a single office (SO) are implemented by HTML5. Therefore, regarding small businesses that lack concepts and techniques for document management, cannot effectively control documents so as to cause industry information, which is a companys core asset, to be easily leaked, and have an inadequate information sharing system, the present invention can semipermanently provide the small businesses with an easy application including effective management and security of information assets by new technologies, with the creation, storage, distribution, and disposal of electronic documents pursuant to Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, and with the legal proof of the electronic documents.
