The present invention relates to a method for measuring the safety of a marine structure and, more specifically, to a method for measuring the safety of a marine structure using a virtual model and a safety measuring system using the same. The method comprises the steps of collecting information on a mock-up model of a marine structure and information measured by applying an external force to the mock up model; creating a first virtual model using the mock-up model information; collecting a first measurement result measured by performing a simulation so as to apply, to the first virtual model, a virtual external force under the same condition as the external force; creating a second virtual model having a shape, of which at least a part is deformed, based on the first virtual model; collecting a second measurement result measured by performing a simulation so as to apply the virtual external force to the second virtual model; and determining whether a result drawn by comparing the first measurement result with the second measurement result is within a predetermined tolerance and outputting the result.
