The present invention relates to a forward osmosis inducing solution recovery method in a forward osmosis type seawater-desalination process. The recovery method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a preparation step of preparing an osmosis reactor including a forward osmosis inducing solution container, a seawater container, and an osmosis membrane positioned between the forward osmosis inducing solution container and the seawater container, supplying a forward osmosis inducing solution including ammonium bicarbonate to the forward osmosis inducing solution container, and supplying seawater to the seawater container; a forward osmosis reaction step of passing water molecules of seawater through the osmosis membrane to form a mixed solution having a diluted forward osmosis inducing solution; a desalination step of heating the mixed solution having completed the forward osmosis reaction step, distilling to separate fresh water, and discharging the fresh water; and a recovery step of dissolving ammonia gas and carbon dioxide gas generated in the desalination step in water to recover the forward osmosis inducing solution.
