The present invention relates to a transformer design system and a transformer capacity calculation method of the same. The transformer design system according to the present invention comprises: a control unit which calculates the capacity of a transformer to be designed based on inputted transformer design condition data while calculating the capacity of the transformer by a transformer capacity calculation program; a storage unit which stores the transformer capacity calculation program, provides the control unit with the transformer capacity calculation program, and stores transformer capacity calculation related data according to the control of the control unit; an input unit which inputs commands and data applied according to manual operations to the control unit; and a display unit which displays various screens for transformer capacity calculation according to the control of the control unit. According to the system and the method of the present invention, since the capacity of the transformer to be designed can be automatically calculated, the capacity of the transformer can be accurately calculated at high speed.
