The present invention discloses a method for isolating nucleic acid using magnetite particle coated carbon nanotubes capable of reducing time for isolating nucleic acid and improving recovery rate by using the principle of positive charge-negative charge coupling. To this end, the method for isolating nucleic acid using magnetite particle coated carbon nanotubes comprises: a step of mixing a sample including nucleic acid with a CNT dispersing liquid containing magnetite particle coated carbon nanotubes and making the mixture react; a step of applying magnetic field to the mixture of the sample and CNT dispersing liquid to separate a nucleic acid conjugate of the nucleic acids and the magnetite particle coated carbon nanotubes; and a step of recovering nucleic acid by adding a DNA eluting reagent to the the conjugate. According to the present invention, as phenol is not used in the method different from a conventional method for isolating with an organic solvent, the method is not harmful for a human body, minimizes the problems such as environmental pollution, and presents binding properties to target DNA and high yield rate, thereby securing sample DNA per unit time in bulk.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
