Provided is a power generating system of a semi-submersible rig using vortex induced vibration capable of generating power using vortex induced vibration applied to at least one cylinder connecting twin hulls of a semi-submersible rig. According to the present invention, the power generating system of a semi-submersible rig generates power for the semi-submersible rig using vortex induced vibration, thereby generating eco-friendly power without additionally generating a pollution source to have little effect on an environment when installed and operated.
