The present invention relates to a method for separating an anthraquinone compound having a mosquito larvicidal activity derived from Photorhabdus temperate subsp. temperate and a mosquito larvicidal composition comprising the same, and more specifically to the method for separating an anthraquinone compound having an excellent mosquito larvicidal activity by a chromatography of a culture fluid of Photorhabdus temperate subsp. Temperate ECOWIN_104 (KACC 91741P), and the mosquito larvicidal composition comprising the separated anthraquinone compound. The separated 1,3-dimethoxy-8-hydroxy-9,10-anthraquinone or 1,8-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-9,10-anthraquinone compound has an excellent mosquito larvicidal activity, therefore, is environmentally friendly, and effectively controls a mosquito.
