The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode in which photo-electrochemical performance is improved using electron beam irradiation, the PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode manufactured thereby, and a photo-electrochemical cell containing the same. More particularly, the PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode of the present invention is manufactured; by manufacturing a TiO2 electrode by forming a TiO2 nano particle film to a conductive glass substrate and putting; by stirring the TiO2 electrode in a PCBM solution in which PCBM ([6,6]- phenyl-C61-butylic acid methyl ester) power which is a fullerene derivative is dissolved in a solvent; by manufacturing the PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode; by irradiating an electron beam to the PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode. The PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode increases optical density of a visible ray area than a TiO2 exclusive electrode by a PCBM derivative in which a bad gap is small and easily performs injection of an electron according to conduction of TiO2 by the PCBM derivative in which an electron band structure is changed by the electron beam irradiation and a LUMO level gets higher. The PCBM derivative/ TiO2 electrode can be usefully used as a light electrode of the photo-electrochemical cell.
