Authentication method between a service provider network content distribution and content owner comprising: #A) establish a TCP connection between an end node of a disservice CDN provider and an authentication server content owner; # b) for content requested by an end user through said TCP connection is established, send the end point an authentication request to the authentication server content owner, #C) receive the authentication server, the authentication request and performing authentication of the same to the end user; and # d) sending the authentication server, a response to the end node via the TCP connection, indicating whether the authentication request has been granted or not.
