The invention relates to a steam distributing device (16) comprising a connection device (24) for detachably connecting the steam distributing device (16) to a steam generating device (10), said connection device (24) comprising a steam guiding connection element (54') for connecting to a corresponding connection element (54) of the steam generating device (10), two supply voltage contact elements (F', G') for connecting to a corresponding contact element (F, G) of the steam generating device (10), between which a supply voltage (D') is applied, a protection contact element (D') for connecting to a corresponding contact element (D) of the steam generating device (10), said contact element (D) being connected to a protection earth, and two low voltage contact elements (Α', C') for connecting to corresponding contact elements (A, C) of the steam generating device (10), between which a low voltage protection is applied. The aim of the invention is to provide said type of steam distributing device wherein the danger of damaging said steam distributing device and the steam generating device by electric discharge and the danger to a user linked thereto is reduced. As a result, the distance between the supply voltage contact elements (F', G') and the protection contact element (D') is less than the distance between the supply voltage contact elements (F', G') and the low voltage contact elements (Α', C'). The invention also relates to a steam generating device (10) and a combined steam generating and steam distributing device (1).
