A method for reducing nitrogen oxide discharge of a biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler is provided. The method includes the following steps: 1) leading smoke discharged from the biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler (1) into a dust catcher (2) to remove most of the dust and obtain cleaner smoke; 2) leading part of the cleaner smoke into a primary air chamber (1d) from a primary air inlet (1b) of the biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler (1) for circulating so as to reduce the content of oxygen in the primary air and drop the combustion temperature of a hearth of the biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler (1); 3) meanwhile, spraying denitrification reducing agent into the hearth from a secondary air inlet (1a) of the biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler (1), then the denitrification reducing agent atomized by secondary air would be mixed with the smoke in the hearth sufficiently, and the nitrogen oxide would be removed further by a chemical reaction between the nitrogen oxide and the denitrification reducing agent. The technics of the method is simple and practical, and the investment cost is low because there is no need to change the biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler (1) greatly. A better effect to reduce nitrogen oxide discharge can be obtained at the same time.
