A manufacturing method for a new-model ventilation hood housing and a ventilation hood matched thereto, characterized by comprising the following steps: combining a raw material in these proportions: 12-18 parts of unsaturated resin, 60-66 parts of ≥100 mesh natural-stone granule filler, 40-46 parts of powdered stone filler, 0.08-0.8 part of curing agent, 0.1-2 parts of defoaming agent, and 0.7-0.96 part of accelerant; placing the raw material into a vacuum tank to be mixed, stirred, and defoamed; pouring the mixed and stirred raw material into a mold, sealing the mold and evacuating the cavity thereof, and placing the mold onto a vibrator for defoaming a second time via vibration; placing the mold within a high-temperature oven for firing; finally, buffing and polishing the semi-finished product to obtain a finished product for assembly with the ventilation hood. The advantages of the present invention are: use of the pour molding method allows variation in the appearance and shape of the product, so that the product can be aesthetically appealing, and thereby overcoming the restrictions on the appearance of traditional ventilation hoods.
