This invention provides a detection device, a detection method, and a detection program for detecting a candidate for a biomarker capable of being used in the diagnosis of a pre-disease state that indicates a transition from a healthy state to a disease state. A plurality of biological samples is collected at different points in time from biological samples that are slated to be measured, the collected biological samples are measured, and statistical data is acquired by tabulating the resulting measurement data. Then, a high-throughput data acquisition process (s1), a differential biological molecule selection process (s2), a clustering process (s3), a DNB candidate selection process (s4), and a significance analysis-based DNB determination process (s5) are performed.
