An Internet based Contact List, wherein the contact information is controlledand managed bythe Contacts. The Contact List only provides access to the contact informationof its contacts.The contact, who creates and provides this information, is in control of thisinformationincluding management and setting access privileges for this information to theContact List. ThisPeer Managed Contact Information allows privileged access, thereby passingcontrol of contactinformation to the real owner of this information. This Internet Based ContactList can besynchronized with multiple devices, thus providing up-to-date informationabout a contact, whomanages this information.
