Process conception and realization of a package for the protection and / or transport of a product (1, 10), comprising the following steps: - automatically designing a virtual counterform (2, 12) of said digitally defined product, - virtually cutting said contraforma in layers (3) according to a process computer staging (13), - produce all geometric parameters of each layer (5i, 15i) of material on the plate to be cut, - cutting each layer plate material it just defined, - reconstituting a final packaging (6) by stacking layers.
