When the frame immediately before a frame to be coded by a first coding unit (13) using the linear prediction coding is coded by a second coding unit (14) using a coding different from the linear prediction coding, the internal status of the first coding unit (13) is initialized, and thereby the frame to be coded is coded using the linear prediction coding. With this, coding processing including the linear prediction coding and another coding different from the linear prediction coding can be performed.
