摘要

The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of nanostructured binary oxides, such as ZnO-TiOand Fe-doped ZnO-TiO, to be employed as noxious gas detectors. According to the invention, the process comprises the direct synthesis of nanostructures using ionic and non-ionic surface-active agents, in micellar form, as structure directing agents, whereto the inorganic precursors are admixed as drops, while stirring, in a ratio of 2:1, then a 25% aqueous ammonia solution is added to generate precipitation of ions in the micellar solution, after which the resulting solution is hydrothermally treated, the resulting precipitate being thermally treated for completion purposes, the solid nanoparticles obtained thereby having dimensions in the range of 10...20 nm and a porous structure, having specific surfaces about 70 m/g.
