The invention relates to an analytical method for determining heavy metals in food samples. According to the invention, the method consists in ultrasonically extracting the heavy metals for 5...10 min, at a temperature of 60...70°C in a diluted acid ultrasonic bath followed by filtering, bringing them to a defined volume with ultra pure water and simultaneously determining the heavy metals by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
