The present invention is an eco-friendly cloth hanger which comprises of hanger body and recyclable hanger hook. The invention further comprises of three layers of paper and paper board. The centre layer is the fusion board. This fusion board is made of 3 or 4 layers of 5 mm thick board, fused in wet condition using animal glue with 150 ton pressure press. This fusion board is then pasted with 230 gsm tear resistant kraft paper board of 35 BF (bursting strength) on either side to form 3 layered tuff board. This is die cut to the required shape as per design. The hanger body comprises of a hump at the top and bottom side of both ends to prevent transferring of the entire load of the heavy garment to the tip on either end. The recyclable hanger hook is attached to the hanger body vertically inside the groove made in the hanger body. The present invention is also useful to hold heavy garments and can be mainly used in the garment industries, dry cleaning industries and household.
