PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a releasable aqueous adhesive composition which shows little temporal increase in adhesion strength and is excellent in non-staining property, i.e. remains few stains such as adhesive remains or marks on an adherend when released. PSOLUTION: The releasable aqueous adhesive composition comprises an acrylic emulsion [I] comprising an acrylic resin [A] and an emulsifier [B], provided that the emulsifier [B] comprises an anionic reactive emulsifier (b1) containing no alkylene oxide chain and an anionic non-reactive emulsifier (b2) containing no alkylene oxide chain.
