PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more correctly evaluate the ingestion function of a subject through daily meal scenes than by a conventional method.SOLUTION: A magnetic field change detecting part is arranged close to a bowl part 23 of an ingestion function evaluation spoon 20. A magnet 11 is attached to a region close to the lips of the subject, so as to determine a timing when the bowl part 23 of the spoon 20 approaches the lips b and is inserted into a mouth, based on the output of the magnetic field change detecting part. Besides, the state of the function related to the ingestion is detected by respective sensors with the detected timing for the approach of the bowl part to the lips and the insertion into the mouth as a trigger.
