PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a construction method for a large diameter deep foundation, and an earth retaining structure for a large diameter deep foundation, which are never affected by change in ground conditions.;SOLUTION: The construction method of an earth retaining for deep foundation includes: a primary excavation step of digging an excavation hole 2 downwardly; a primary bar arrangement step of arranging first vertical reinforcing bars along a hole wall surface 2a which results from the primary excavation step; a primary spraying step of spraying spray concrete 6 to the hole wall surface 2a; a secondary excavation step of excavating the bottom of the excavated hole 2 to form a space below the first vertical reinforcing bars; a support arrangement step of arranging a ring support 3 in the space; a secondary bar arrangement step of arranging second vertical reinforcing bars along the hole wall surface 2a of the space shallower than the ring support 3; and a secondary spraying step of spraying spray concrete 6 to the hole wall surface 2a shallower than the ring support 3 within the space.
