PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a blast furnace operation feature value-calculating unit, capable of rapidly predicting the internal state of a blast furnace; a blast furnace operation feature value-calculating method; and a program.;SOLUTION: The blast furnace operation feature value-calculating unit dissects the internal state of the blast furnace into three phases: a solid phase, a liquid phase and a gas phase, and then sets an interval for updating elapsed time upon calculation of blast furnace operation feature values in the solid phase, an interval for updating elapsed time upon calculation of blast furnace operation feature values in the liquid phase and an interval for updating elapsed time upon calculation of blast furnace operation feature values in the gas phase, independently from each other. Based on each of the set update intervals, the blast furnace operation feature value-calculating unit updates the elapsed time in arithmetic processing of the blast furnace operation feature values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
