PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing diolefins from a 5C raffinate containing the diolefins in a high concentration.;SOLUTION: This method for removing the diolefins from the fraction (5C raffinate) is characterized by thermally cracking the fraction (5C raffinate) obtained after separating, by an extraction distillation, at least three components of isoprene, dicyclopentadiene, and 1,3-pentadiene from a fraction (5C fraction) containing 5C organic compounds as main components and discharged from an ethylene cracker, and then hydrogenating the thermally cracked product in a gas state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
