PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, rapidly, easily and reliably inspect whether wiring connection of an integrating wattmeter to a main circuit using a current transformer and a load is correct or wrong, as it is, without having to remove the wiring connection and without the need for large-scale power supplies and loading devices. PSOLUTION: While the power normally supplied to the main circuit is cut off, as it is, without removing the wiring connection of the integrating wattmeter to the main circuit, and the current transformer for meters and a load, a prescribed inspection reference voltage is applied, from the body of an inspection device to the metering object circuit, to allow an inspection reference current to flow, voltage waveforms and current waveforms detected by voltage and current terminals, respectively, in the integrating wattmeter to be connected are compared, in terms of reference waveforms created by the body of the inspection device and phase differences and sizes thereof, thus determining whether the wiring connection of the integrating wattmeter is correct or wrong by a control section of the body of the inspection device for display.
