PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group behavior estimation device and a service provision system or the like, estimating the behavior of a group by short-time observation.;SOLUTION: This group behavior estimation device 10 includes a computer 30, and estimates the behavior of a group in an environment based on position information of a person detected by a position detection system 12 installed in the environment. The computer 30 acquires position history data of each person belonging to the group for predetermined time from the position detection system 12, and calculates a feature amount on interrelation between the persons by use of the position history data. By applying the calculated feature amount to a discriminant, the behavior of the group is estimated. As the behavior of the group in the environment can be estimated in a short time, a service can be provided in quick response to the behavior of the group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
