PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability.;SOLUTION: In one aspect, a disclosed bookmark setting device includes an acceptance part, a calculation part, and a setting part. The acceptance part accepts a page turning operation of turning pages of an electronic book displayed on a display unit. The calculation part calculates a variation per unit time of the number of pages turned by the page turning operation accepted by the acceptance part. When a variation equal to or larger than a threshold is calculated by the calculation part, the setting part sets bookmark information for unequivocally specifying a page of the electronic book, which was displayed on the display unit when the variation became equal to or larger than the threshold, to the electronic book.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
