PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annealing method enabling to prevent a tempering color with which a tempering degree for BAF (Box Annealing Furnace) annealed steel sheet can be secured while effectively preventing the generation of the tempering color.;SOLUTION: When a tight-coiled steel sheet is recrystallization-annealed with BAF, the method for preventing the tempering color on the BAF annealed steel sheet is performed as the followings that a mixed atmospheric gas having the composition of 90-97 vol.% nitrogen gas concentration and 3-10 vol.% hydrogen gas concentration is supplied and moisture generated from the tight-coiled steel sheet during temperature-raising process is exhausted while vaporizing the moisture, and the tight-coiled steel sheet is held under reducing atmosphere, in which a dew-point at the reaching time to 580-630°C soaking sheet temperature is made to be ≤-40°C.
