PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably support presentation of information indicating a background of a topic word.;SOLUTION: A computer is caused to execute: a relationship generation procedure for extracting relationship between words included in a retrieval word based on a retrieval log in which the retrieval word and the attribute information of the retrieval word are stored in association with each other, and recording words and related words in a relationship information storage means in association with each other; and a selection procedure for extracting a surrounding word to be a word related to a topic word by referring to the relationship information storage means based on the topic word included in the retrieval word, extracting first words related to the extracted surrounding word and second words which are first words and corresponding to surrounding words other than the extracted surrounding word for each extracted surrounding word by referring to the relationship information storage means, counting up each of the number of extracted first words and the number of extracted second words, calculating a degree at which the extracted surrounding word indicates a background of the topic word based on the number of first words and the number of second words, and extracting a part of the surrounding words based on the calculated degree.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
