PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic feature quantity calculation technique applicable to various acoustic signals in comparison with conventional techniques.;SOLUTION: An acoustic feature quantity calculation device 1 comprises: a frame division part 12 for dividing an input acoustic signal into frames of a predetermined time length; and a feature quantity extraction part 13 including a rise characteristic calculation part 131. In the rise characteristic calculation part 131, an acoustic signal of each frame is divided into k-pieces of sections, p-k is set as an average quantity of indices expressing a size of an acoustic signal in a k-th section of each frame, and Δp-k is set as a rate of change of p-k in a k-th section of each frame. Regarding m as a predetermined integer of 2 or larger, a value expressed by a formula below is calculated. If the calculated value is 0 or larger, the calculated value is regarded as a rise characteristic of each frame.
