PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate measurement regardless of consumed food.;SOLUTION: A device for measuring the amount of abdominal fat comprises a size measuring part for measuring the size of the abdomen of a subject ; an impedance acquisition part for acquiring the bioelectric impedance of the abdomen; and a calculation part 15 for calculating the amount of abdominal fat. The size measuring part comprises a size correction part 12 for correcting the measured abdominal size using the time that has passed since the subject has consumed food. The calculation part 15 calculates the amount of abdominal fat of the subject in accordance with a predetermined conversion formula by using the bioelectric impedance acquired by the impedance acquisition part and the size of the abdomen corrected by the size correction part 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
