PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of comprehensively evaluating degree of habitability for a plurality of organisms having different habitat suitability.SOLUTION: An ecological network evaluation method includes: a patch extraction step (S101) for extracting forest patches covered by forests, grass field patches covered by grasses, and water front green field patches comprising green fields at water front from remote sensing data of a target area; a step (S104) for computing a habitat suitability index for each forest inhabiting organism from an index computed based on an area of each forest patch and an area of forest patches nearby; a step (S105) for computing a habitat suitability index for each grass field inhabiting organism from an index computed based on an area of each grass field patch and an area of grass field patches nearby; and a step (S106) for computing a habitat suitability index for each water front green field inhabiting organism from an index computed based on an area of each water front green field patch and an area of water front green field patches nearby.
