PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant concrete block which can be inexpensively manufactured and achieve high strength and daylighting properties, using a glass block with excellent daylighting properties as a structural member for an earthquake-resisting wall; and to provide a method for constructing the earthquake-resisting wall using the earthquake-resistant concrete block. PSOLUTION: This earthquake-resistant concrete block is molded from concrete in the state of having the built-in glass block 2, so that a lateral surface 2c except top and bottom surfaces 2a and 2b of the glass block 2 of a columnar body higher in compressive strength than a concrete body with the same volume and shape can be brought into contact with concrete 3.
