PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for proliferating spores to improve productivity of filamentous fungi, and an apparatus for achieving the proliferation method.;SOLUTION: The method for proliferating filamentous fungi is characterized in that, to the filamentous fungi where chains of conidia L, a string of spores 40, are formed on hypha via sterigmata 46, non-uniform electric field EF is applied in such a manner that the electric flux lines 39 are dense at the side of the chains of conidia L and sparse at the side of the hypha. Application of non-uniform electric field EF to apply strong electric field to the chains of conidia L enables forced separation of the spores constituting the chains of conidia L.
