PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a suspension polymer for manufacturing a suspension polymerization toner by using a polymerization initiator composition having low VOC residual amount even when polymerized at a relatively high temperature and capable of suppressing generation of emulsified fine particles.SOLUTION: 0.5 to 15 pts.mass of a polymerization initiator, which contains an organic peroxide represented by a structural formula (I) of 100 pts.mass and toluene of 5 to 40 pts.mass, is mixed with 100 pts.mass of a polymerizable monomer and polymerized at 70°C or higher.
