PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a municipality digital broadcast communication system that is able to effectively restrain the use of batteries in a re-transmission slave station and a slave station.SOLUTION: A municipality digital broadcast communication system comprises a master station, a retransmission slave station, and a slave station. The master station transmits CCH in a predetermined slot. The retransmission slave station comprises a transfer processing unit, and first and second transition units. The transfer processing unit transfers the CCH to the slave station. If only the CCH is received during a predetermined period, the first transition unit stops transferring the CCH and shifts to a battery saving state. If a start signal is received from the slave station, the second transition unit cancels the battery saving state and resumes transferring the CCH. The slave station comprises a third transition unit and a start processing unit. If only the CCH is received during the predetermined period, the third transition unit shifts to the battery saving state. The start processing unit cancels the battery saving state and transmits the start signal to the retransmission slave station in a plurality of slots.
