PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prevention and treating agent for hepatitis C with few side effects and a high virus removal rate, being expected to enhance the treatment effect.SOLUTION: This invention provides an anti-HCV agent containing at least one selected from the group consisting of: (A) an actinohivin which is a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO1 of a sequence table; (B) a polypeptide in which one of amino acid sequences or 10% or less of amino acid sequences in an actinohivin is deleted, substituted, or added; and (C) a polymer made by linking the (A) and/or (B) with a linker preferably comprising 50 or less amino acids or a polyethylene glycol residue.
