PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate rotation of a horizontal shaft by magnetic levitation, rotate a pedestal (upper) too, and thereby provide a horizontal axis wind turbine regardless of wind direction where friction is reduced by the magnetic levitation and rotation is facilitated.SOLUTION: Permanent magnets (7) and (8) where horizontal axis permanent magnets (10) and (11) are mounted on a pedestal (upper) (6) are homopolarly attached to be raised magnetically, and further, permanent magnets (2) and (5) are attached to the pedestal (upper) (6) and a pedestal (lower) (1), so that a horizontal axis wind turbine is rotated by magnetic levitation regardless of wind direction.
