PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll shape measurement method and a roll shape measuring apparatus capable of more exactly grasping shape change of a work roll to be used for a roll press facility.;SOLUTION: An amount of roll deformation is grasped by dividing roll deformation into deformation due to temperature change of rolls 1, 2 and deformation due to a load to the rolls 1, 2. In the case of a roll press facility in which the rolls 1, 2 are vertically arranged, and the load is applied in the vertical direction, shapes of the rolls 1, 2 are measured from two directions, the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and the amount of roll deformation is grasped by dividing the roll deformation into the deformation due to the temperature change of the rolls 1, 2 and the load to the rolls 1, 2. In addition, the amount of roll deformation is calculated by using start or before condition change of the roll press facility as a reference value, and comparing a measurement value during actuation of the roll press facility with the reference value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
