PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell behavior analysis device or the like capable of facilitating a highly accurate automatic tracking by classifying a detected cell candidate area into a clear area and a non-clear area and executing an automatic tracking for the clear area high in cell detection accuracy based on a calculated feature quantity even under high density condition in which a number of non-clear areas of the cell are available.;SOLUTION: A cell behavior analysis device 1 extracts a cell candidate area using a binarized image of a time lapse image which is applied with cell image processing (S1), and executes feature quantity calculation processing for each cell candidate area (S2). The cell behavior analysis device 1 calculates an area size, a luminance value distribution, and a curvature distribution of the cell candidate area, and prepares a high dimensional feature vector based on the calculated feature quantity (S3). The cell behavior analysis device 1 extracts a cell area among the cell candidate areas based on the feature vector (S5). The cell behavior analysis device 1 executes automatic tracking processing for the extracted cell area.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
