Non-transient computer-readable medium for determining coverage of inter radio access technology to manage energy saving in wireless communication system, has set of instructions for storing value for energy economy coverage attribute
The medium has a set of instructions to identify source and target cells. Value for coverage attribute of energy saving is stored if the target cell is recommended to be considered as a candidate cell to resume coverage when the source cell is to be transferred to energy economy state. Another value for energy economy coverage attribute corresponding to the target cell is stored if the target cell is recommended with another target cell to be considered as integrality of candidate cells to resume coverage when the source cell is about to be transferred to the state. The source cell is a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network cell (110) or Global system for mobile communication (GSM) enhanced data for global evolution Radio Access Network cell (112). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a network management apparatus (2) an evolved node serving a source cell of a network of radio access technology.
