The method involves detecting engagement in a turn (B) taken in a sportive manner based on information of speed of a vehicle (20), position of steering wheel and action of driver on an accelerator pedal. An analysis is made at an exit of another turn (C) if the driver requires strong acceleration. Distribution of torque comprising a portion of the torque is applied to a rear axle of the vehicle, where the torque is distributed at the exit over certain distance (d) traversed by the vehicle.
